DAFOE shafts are manufactured from AQ. 22 high strength and Type 316 strain hardened centreless ground stainless steel. Propeller shafts are machined to the S.A.E standard taper, thread and keyways. Shafts are supplied complete with stainless steel keys, nuts and cotter pin. We inventory stainless steel bars 1″ to 6″ diameter; length to 25 feet. We also stock AQ. 17 in larger diameters.
